In-Depth Photography and Gifts inspires people of all ages to express themselves, explore the depth of their creativity, and appreciate nature through the medium of photography.
Marian Jennifer Holmes is a wildlife, nature, photographer who moved to the Okanagan recently after 21 years in Saskatchewan. Her long-time interest in photography became a passion after receiving her first digital camera in 2015. Shortly after, Marian made the decision to go professional. She founded, In-Depth Photography and Gifts in the summer of 2017 and officially launched it January 1, 2018, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Her hope is that others are inspired by her photography and encourages everyone to explore the depths of creativity and nature; and to express themselves freely. This now comes easily to Marian but hasn’t always. Besides photography, Marian enjoys all forms of creative expression, exploring heritage and family history, writing and Scottish Country Dancing.
"My specialty is in nature/wildlife. I consider myself an artist. I am different in that I do not do photoshoots, do not own a studio. My work in itself focuses on the detail of nature; what many people simply walk away from. For example, the thistle with the ladybug walking along its prickly edge."
