That Explodes Off The Canvas
Leanne is an abstract acrylic flow artist. Surrounded by creativity her whole life as a dancer, singer, actor, and choreographer - Leanne gave birth, 10 years ago, to a little boy named Callum that has Special Needs, and thus stopped all art and dedicated herself to his full-time care.
While Leanne had never painted before, she realized a couple of years ago that the art she had experienced in her daily life was calling again. And suddenly had an unstoppable urge to paint. She engulfed herself in youtube tutorials, articles, and online classes...anything she could do to learn and then she finally grabbed her first canvas and five different colours and dove in!
She has not stopped since. Leanne's work has been described as "an absolute joy to have in your home!" Most of her work is extremely vibrant in colour, done in large and small format, and is blown across the canvas via her breath or even a blow dryer! It can be very messy! lol but it can turn out beautifully. Leanne also does commissions for clients in various different sizes and shapes and colour combinations.
"I feel it is art's job to bring thought, observation and discussion to the world, but on top of that, I want MY art to bring joy. If my pieces ever warm a soul, for whatever that soul craves...I am thrilled to bits!"
